European Family Therapy Association (EFTA)
The European Family Therapy Association (EFTA) is an international association dedicated to scientific purposes.
EFTA was established in 1990 and has members from 29 European nations. It is a strictly non-profit making association.
EFTA’s members comprise currently of 29 national organizations (EFTA-NFTO), 108 training institutes (EFTA-TIC) and about 1100 individual members (EFTA-CIM).
Società italiana di Psicologia e Psicoterapia Relazionale (SIPPR)
The Italian Society of Psychology and Relational Psychotherapy (SIPPR) was founded in 1984 to bring together the teachers of the various Italian centers of systemic relational psychotherapy: there were Presidents Gaspare Vella, Luigi Cancrini, Gianfranco Cecchin, Camillo Loriedo, Valeria Ugazio, Marisa Malagoli Togliatti, Pasquale Chianura. For an initiative promoted by Pasquale Chianura and aimed at an extension and rejuvenation of members, ordinary members can now be teachers or clinicians with the same right to vote.
SIPPR has been a member of the National Society of Societies of the European Association of Family Therapy (EFTA).
