G GUIDELINES

PRESENTATIONS
(Oral Communications, Symposia, Round Tables, Workshops)

All presentations must be pre-loaded onto the conference computers AT LEAST 2-hours prior to your
talk
at the allocated hall of your presentation in the University of Naples “Parthenope” - Palazzo
Pacanowski.

  • Please rename your file as follows: presentation code_first name_last name (for example: OC_001_Maria_Martins). Confirm the time allocated for your presentation from the session schedule:
  • Presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint format (.ppt, pptx).
  • The format of the presentation must be 16:9 Horizontal (landscape).

The technical coordination is powered by
EP Congressi. There will be volunteers in each conference
room and 1-2 technicians in each floor to assist you. All rooms have basic equipment (projector,
laptop, screen).

There will be ONLY in-room facilities for loading presentations.

  • Please make your presence known to one of the chair persons/session organizers before
your session starts, and be present during the entire session in which your presentation is scheduled.
  • We recommend that presenters should arrive at the session room at least 10 minutes ahead
of the starting time of each session
and sit in a front row to lessen transition time between
    presentations.
  • While no one expects perfect timekeeping, it is important to follow the time schedule as
much as possible. This ensures that: 1) the final speaker is not deprived of the promised presentation time, and 2) conference attendees can change rooms in order to attend specific presentations.
  • Accordingly, please do not shift speaker order or time slot during the session. In the event
that a scheduled speaker does not appear for his/her presentation, the unused time slot will be
filled with Q & A or group discussion.

KEYNOTE LECTURES / INVITED DIALOGUES

The Keynote / Invited Dialogues’ Speakers can contact directly the conference secretariat at Teatro Augusteo or the allocated hall at Palazzo Pacanowski regarding their presentations.
